Mindfulness is Your Choice


When you consciously choose to let go of the way you think something should be, you create a new energy vortex that allows miracles and opportunities to flood your life. You free your mind and body from the constricting thoughts and practices of "holding onto". You create space for new acceptance, learning and growth.

How can you achieve this newly created freedom and space? Through mindfulness meditation practices such as the body scan and loving kindness. Mindfulness meditation is way to get out of your own way, so to speak. It's a way for you to release thoughts, emotions and stuff that no longer serves a good purpose (it no longer serves you).

To practice mindfulness meditation, get comfy and close your eyes. Begin by taking in nice deep breaths ... inhale and exhale. Slowly and methodically just keep breathing; pay attention to your breath. As you exhale you will want to consciously release anything that is not serving you, at this time, in your life. As different things or people pop up in your mind - "see" them and if you no longer need them, gently say to yourself "I no longer need _______; I release you." Do this for several minutes - saying farewell to those people and things that no longer serve you. When you are done, bring your attention back to the center; back to your breathing. When you are ready, open your eyes.

Your life is all about choices. Make sure you are choosing the best for you at this time in your life. Mindful meditation practices will assist you greatly in your journey. Mindfulness - it is your choice.
