Connect with nature

Mindful ways to connect with nature involve immersing yourself fully into your natural surroundings. Engage your senses - observe sights, sounds, textures, and scents around you. Practice deep, conscious breathing to ground yourself in the present moment. Disconnect from distractions and be present in your natural setting. Allowing will foster a sense of tranquility and appreciation for the world around you.

  • Head over to a body of water - a river, lake, waterfall, or pond - sit or stand, close your eyes or soften your gaze, and connect with your breath - air moving in and out. Listen and get comfortable. Let your attention move from your breath to the sound of water - babbling, flowing, waves, and laps. Sit and be with what you are experiencing.

  • Walk barefoot, bring awareness to your feet and how the sole meets the ground. Feel the grass, dirt, moss, patio, mud, water - whatever you are walking on - meet the surface with curiosity. Walk and be with what you are experiencing.

  • Breathe deeply and connect with the scents - trees, flowers, the air - breathe it all in and experience the scents.

Join us for a virtual walking meditation in October. Meditate with Chantal HERE.
