Resisting is effort; it makes us tired and frustrated, and the more we resist, the more we are in the action of resisting. Eventually, we rest and sigh and let go, just enough to ease some component of the effort. But often, we head back to the pull of resisting and begin the process of efforting again.
Being mindful is a great way to notice when you are in these places of resistance. Because then you can make a shift away from all that resistance. You ease the space of effort and move into a more peaceful place. You rest and get a little more clarity which brings you to awareness. All of these steps move you into a more balanced, centered place. And you will get that with my guided meditations.
Begin to notice when you are resting to get back into resistance mode. Notice when you are resting in awareness with peace, calm, and energy flow. These are the times we relish and remember our true essence of vitality. For then, you are living life mindfully instead of mindlessly, as you intended.
